When we remember someone, how much is real, and how much is projection?
How can animation express the way memory feels, not just how it looks?
By transforming detailed rotoscoping into fluid, repetitive abstraction, "ghosts of your whispered words linger" draws on theories of Proustian cinema as a “memory text.” Rather than relying on linear narrative, rhythm and emotional atmosphere mirror the instability and nonlinearity of recollection, framing memory as an ongoing emotional reconstruction rather than a fixed archival record.
